8th October 2017 – the Newman Night Walk from Oxford to Littlemore
The annual Night Walk was more mystical, beautiful and peaceful than I could have imagined, taking place as it did on a Sunday night before the first day of Michaelmas term. There was excited chatter and meditative silence in equal measure…

In this year of 2017, the Church commemorates the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady in Fatima where the Mother of God exhibited the love of her Immaculate Heart and invited the faithful to pray for peace and for the eternal salvation of souls.
Moses the Type of Christ
“The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee
a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me;
unto Him ye shall harken.” – Deut. 18:15.
The history of Moses is valuable to Christians, not only as giving us a pattern of fidelity towards God, of great firmness, and great meekness, but also as affording us a type or figure of our Saviour Christ.
