The International Centre of Newman Friends was born in 1975 after the first academic Symposium on John Henry Newman in Rome.
It was founded by The Spiritual Family The Work, an international Catholic community.
OUR NEWMAN CENTRES
The Newman Centre maintains a library devoted to the works of Newman and provides a reference point for scholars worldwide since its foundation in 1975.
Saint John Henry Newman lived at The College at Littlemore from 1842 – 1846, making it a place of quiet prayer and study for himself and some friends.
The Newman Centre in Bregenz is based in the beautiful convent of Thalbach. Newman Friends make use of the specialised Newman library.
The Newman Centre in Budapest helps to promote the thought and spirituality of Newman in Hungary and is in contact with Newman friends, students and scholars.
