The International Centre of Newman Friends was born in 1975 after the first academic Symposium on John Henry Newman in Rome. It was founded by The Spiritual Family The Work, an international Catholic community.
On an international level we seek:
* to make the life, spirituality and thought of this great English Cardinal (1801-1890) known.
* to promote the study and veneration of Newman as a shining example of Christian life, scholarship and holiness.
* to offer centres of authentic faith inspired by Newman's Motto 'Cor ad Cor Loquitur'.
* We have four specialised Newman libraries
* We organise special Newman events: talks, conferences, exhibtions, liturgical celebrations, devotions.
* We publish an annual Newsletter in various languages.
This website contains a continually updated Newman bibliography.
